Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) are delivered to students by request.

Pre-Employment Transition Services (5 Areas):
- Job exploration counseling:
- Learn about different types of jobs.
- Learn about your strengths, abilities and interests to figure out what jobs would be a good fit.
- Work-based learning experiences:
- Visit a variety of job sites.
- Participate in informational interviews.
- Join someone at their job to learn about what they do.
- Get job skills through student work experiences and volunteering.
- Counseling on postsecondary education/vocational training:
- Explore next steps after school.
- Learn about college or training options.
- Understand and be connected to services that can help you after school.
- Workplace readiness training:
- Get skills to live independently.
- Learn how to interact with your boss, coworkers and customers.
- Learn how to show your best self in an interview and at work.
- Learn what to expect in a workplace.
- Self-advocacy/peer mentoring:
- Learn how to have your opinions be heard.
- Learn how to ask for what you need.
- Gain confidence in making decisions.
